This remote contract role is for U.S.-licensed attorneys who identify companies entering insolvency or shutting down, assess the related opportunities and risks, and advise on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor and debtor issues, wind-down, and related legal matters. The work centers on clear, actionable written analysis.
What you'll do

Identify and source companies that are entering insolvency, restructuring, or shutting down.

Assess the legal, commercial, and practical opportunities and risks associated with those situations.

Advise on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor and debtor issues, wind-down, and related legal matters.

Produce clear, actionable written analysis that decision-makers can use.

Required qualifications

Currently based in the United States.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Actively licensed attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Meaningful professional experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, distressed-company, or wind-down matters.

Ability to produce clear, well-reasoned written analysis and recommendations.
