We are looking for a Bank Teller to support daily branch operations and deliver a high standard of service to customers. This contract position is ideal for someone with prior banking experience who can balance accurate transaction processing with relationship-focused client support. The role will involve assisting customers with routine banking needs, contributing to account-related services, and working closely with branch staff to maintain smooth and compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and funds transfers, with a strong focus on accuracy and customer care.

• Assist clients with service requests at the branch while providing timely guidance on banking products and account-related options.

• Support new account setup activities, including checking and savings accounts, in accordance with branch procedures and compliance standards.

• Handle cash drawer responsibilities, balance transactions, and maintain proper controls throughout the business day.

• Partner with branch leadership and operations staff to promote appropriate banking solutions that align with customer needs.

• Respond to client questions regarding accounts, transactions, and basic banking services in an attentive and efficient manner.

• Follow banking regulations, internal policies, and security procedures to help protect customer information and branch assets.

• Contribute to a team-oriented branch environment by supporting both service and operational priorities as needed.

• Previous banking experience is required, preferably in a teller, universal banker, or client-facing branch role.

• Working knowledge of banking operations, transaction processing, and cash handling practices.

• Familiarity with opening consumer bank accounts such as checking and savings products.

• Understanding of banking compliance, regulations, and standard branch security procedures.

• Ability to use banking software and systems to complete daily service and transaction activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately in a fast-paced setting.
