Job Title: Paediatrics RCN / Paediatric ED Nurse Banding: Band 5 Location: Kettering Working Hours: Full-time / Part-time Rate: £22.00 - £35.50 per hour
Are you an experienced Band 5 Paediatrics RCN or Paediatric ED Nurse seeking a fresh challenge? Join our esteemed NHS Trust in Kettering, where you'll deliver outstanding care and support to our patients. Must have Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) certification.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond appropriately to any changes.
- Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that supports patient recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent.

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid RCN registration

Must have Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) certification.

Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
