Job title: Bagger Operator - Albertville Plant I
About the Role The Bagger Operator operates bagger equipment at the Albertville Plant to produce sealed, ready-to-eat chicken products. You will set up and tear down the workstation, monitor bag quality, verify weights and date formats, and report issues to supervision. This is a safety-sensitive role essential to our packaging operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate bagger equipment according to manufacturer instructions to produce sealed bags of ready-to-eat chicken products.
- Set up bagger with proper film and code date printer; ensure bags seal properly and verify individual bag weights and code dates.
- Report mechanical failures to supervisor and maintenance; perform preventative maintenance; change code dater ink and film as needed.
- Maintain a clean and uncluttered work area; perform other duties as assigned.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot bagger equipment and perform setup/teardown as required.
- Attention to detail for bag seal quality, accurate weights, and clear code dates.
- Willingness to follow safety policies and work in a fast-paced production environment.
