Badging Administrator

We are looking for a detail-focused Badging Administrator to support badge administration and access management at a client site in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position plays an important role in maintaining a secure workplace by coordinating credential records, assisting visitors and staff, and providing organized administrative support in a fast-moving environment. The role is fully onsite and requires a detail-oriented approach, sound judgment with sensitive information, and a strong commitment to service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily badging activities by creating, updating, and maintaining access credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, visitors, and other approved individuals.

  • Take and upload identification photos while ensuring records remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with quality standards.

  • Review badge data regularly, identify expired or noncompliant credentials, and coordinate timely corrections or renewals.

  • Set and adjust access permissions based on approved security guidelines and departmental authorization levels.

  • Work closely with the on-site Security Manager to support compliance with established site security procedures and access protocols.

  • Safeguard confidential personnel and security information by handling records with discretion and accuracy at all times.

  • Track badge office materials and arrange replenishment of supplies to avoid interruptions in daily operations.

  • Provide responsive, detail-oriented assistance to staff and visitors while managing administrative tasks in a high-volume setting.

  • High school diploma required.

  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or another client-facing role.

  • Prior experience in a corporate office or client-site setting is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with general computer skills.

  • Ability to use PC-based camera equipment and related software for identification processing.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and team members.

  • Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to complete pre-employment screening requirements.
