About the Role
We are building an AI-powered money platform for Africa a simpler way to move value, access stablecoins, and manage digital assets through conversation. This role owns the backend that keeps real money moving safely. We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of the backend systems powering our product.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services using C# / .NET.

Design and maintain clean, secure, and reliable APIs.

Ensure financial operations remain accurate and consistent across different transaction states and failure scenarios.

Investigate and resolve backend bugs and performance issues.

Requirements (Must-Have)

3+ years of professional backend engineering experience.

Strong C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core experience.

Strong understanding of REST APIs.

Strong SQL and relational database experience.

Experience integrating third-party APIs.

Experience working with webhooks.

Strong grasp of authentication and authorization.

Comfortable deploying and troubleshooting with Docker in production.

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Advantage)

Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or wallet systems.

Experience with crypto/digital assets, ledgers, and reconciliation.
