About the Role Join Babel as a Back-End Java developer in Mexico City. You'll work on building scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs as part of our growing tech team. What You'll Do
- Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement REST APIs and integrate with databases via JPA
- Write efficient SQL queries
- Collaborate with teams using GitHub/GitLab for source control
- Use IDEs such as Visual Studio Code and/or Eclipse
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
- Work in a hybrid work arrangement in Mexico City What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development
- Experience with Java Persistence API (JPA)
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience with version control using GitHub/GitLab
- Familiarity with IDEs Visual Studio Code or Eclipse
