Job title: Back End Developer

About the Role As a Back End Developer in the Sales & Marketing IT team at the Pirelli Digital Solution Center in Bari, you will design and deliver scalable backend solutions to support data-driven, cloud-based products and end-to-end software development across the organisation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay aligned with industry trends and best practices.

What You'll Do

• Back-End components for web applications.
• AI Agent Development.
• Prototype-to-product refactoring and optimization following development best practices.
• Product monitoring and maintenance through DevOps procedures.
• Keep the development stack up-to-date with industry trends.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related fields.
• BSC/MSC Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or other STEM degree.
• Advanced knowledge of Back-end frameworks (Java, Golang).
• Knowledge of most common AWS Cloud Solutions (EKS, S3, ECS, Aurora, DocumentDB).
• Knowledge of AI Agent pattern and architecture (ADK, Gemini).
• Knowledge of Database query languages: PostgreSQL, SQL/Server, PL/SQL, Mongo.
• Good knowledge of English at professional level (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Git for version control and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Scrum development.
• Curiosity, interest in learning new technologies/new product/features.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Digital Twin concepts and/or Big Data platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

• The employment contract will be regulated by the Gomma Plastica National Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• The gross annual base salary offered will be no less than €29,500.
