ACSI is seeking experienced Labourers to join our industrial team to support project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).

Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

Operate brazing and soldering equipment.

Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.

Join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

Journeyperson may mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.

Requirements and Experience

Valid Provincial Journeyperson Ticket

Valid ABSA Ticket
-
CSTS-20 Certificate
-
Fall Protection – In Class
-
Confined Space – In Class
-
Experience as a Welder in an industrial construction environment.

Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.

Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
