Job title: AZ DOT Driver
About the Role The DOT Driver is accountable for the safe delivery of bulk liquid products between Linde production plants and customer sites. This role involves complex responsibilities, including inspections, documentation, and potential cross-border work, with demanding schedules and extended travel as needed.
What You'll Do
- Complete required equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Enter and exit the cab multiple times a day, using 3-point contact from a height of about 3 feet.
- Handle hoses weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
- Stand outside for up to 90 minutes at a time to monitor loading and unloading processes.
- Deliver cryogenics and refrigerated liquid products safely to scheduled customers.
- Complete all required documentation, including TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports.
- Use computerized systems and e-logs to meet delivery and compliance requirements.
- Always wear appropriate PPE while performing duties.
- Conduct site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs for tanks at customer locations.
- Cross United States borders when required, including obtaining a FAST Card and meeting DOT requirements.
- Work away from home base for extended periods if required.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid provincial Class AZ Driver’s License for at least 36 months, with 24 months of relevant driving experience using similar equipment.
- At least three (3) years of experience driving tanker liquid trailers, including b-trains.
- TDG and WHMIS training.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract with no demerits.
- FAST Card.
- Registered and compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
Nice to Have
- Additional tanker or hazmat certifications beyond TDG/WHMIS.
- Prior cross-border experience and comfortable working in a multinational environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Annual total earnings range from $75,000 to $95,000, including base and variable pay.
