About the Role The AZ DOT Driver delivers CO2 and GHY to scheduled customers and Linde sites, ensuring safe operation and compliance. This is a field-based, full-time role requiring long shifts and potential cross-border travel. You will follow strict safety protocols and TDG/WHMIS standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
What You'll Do
- Work up to 70 hours per week (up to 14 hours per day) on either a 4ON/4OFF Days and 4ON/4OFF Nights schedule
- Complete required equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Enter/exit the cab using 3-point contact, from a height of 3 feet; handle hoses up to 50 lbs
- Monitor loading/unloading outside for up to 90 minutes; deliver cryogenic and refrigerated products per schedule
- Complete TDG paperwork, trip reports, fuel tickets, and other reports; use computerized systems and e-logs for delivery and compliance
- Wear appropriate PPE; conduct site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs at customer locations
- Cross United States borders when required (FAST Card, DOT requirements); work away from home base for extended periods
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid provincial Class AZ Driver’s License for at least 36 months, with 24 months of relevant tanker driving experience
- Minimum 3 years of tanker liquid trailer driving including b-trains
- TDG and WHMIS training; clean Driver’s Abstract with no demerits
- FAST Card holder; FMCSA Clearinghouse compliant
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual total earnings range: $75,000 - $95,000 (base + variable pay)
