Job title: Axle Assembler - 2nd Shift
About the Role Join Dana's Toledo facility as an Axle Assembler on the 2nd shift. You will perform repetitive line operations to assemble axles, uphold quality standards, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement through the Dana Operating System (DOS). This role supports the production of front and rear axles for next-generation vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Performs repetitive line operations to assemble axles.
- Maintains the highest level of quality standards for our product.
- Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader.
- Must have good team work skills.
- Conducts themselves in a manner that exhibits the Dana Operating System (DOS), promoting continuous improvement and inclusion across the plant.
- Ability to train and operate all work stations across the assembly line.
- Follows all safety guidelines.
- Advocates safety practices to the rest of the production staff.
- Ensures that the supervisor/team leader is made aware of all machine/equipment malfunctions (i.e., electrical, mechanical) maintenance or safety issues. Reports all incidents no matter how small.
- Ensures that any equipment or tool malfunction is immediately reported.
- Checks finished product for problems or faults and isolate any damaged or inconsistent item immediately.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Candidate must have a good work history.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and repeat assembly actions repetitively.
- Must be able to pass Drug Test & Pre-Employment verification.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18.00 per hour plus shift premium.
