Avionics Test Team Lead
Primary Responsibilities
- Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
- Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
- Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
- Coordinating test personnel and equipment across multiple events.
- Work directly with OEMs and internal MFG to reliably get product to market.
- Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or other relevant field with 15+ years of prior experience.
- Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
- Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
- Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
- The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
- US Citizenship is required and secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least eight years of experience with test planning and execution.
- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator)
- Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C# and or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices
- Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark
- Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management
- Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities
