About the Role Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is hiring an Aviation Maintenance (A&P) Instructor at its West Mifflin campus. The role focuses on delivering FAA Airframe & Powerplant instruction with daytime hours and no weekend commitments, while guiding students toward successful FAA certification. What You'll Do
- Present lessons focused on FAA Airframe & Powerplant subject areas.
- Assist students in the shop/laboratory.
- Advise students on academic performance and progress.
- Submit grades for student work. What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in aviation maintenance.
- FAA A&P certification.
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer familiarity.
- Teaching experience preferred. Nice to Have
- Teaching experience (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary starting at: $60,000 per year.
