About the Role Anduril's Aviation Maintenance Engineer role ensures airworthiness and mission readiness of developmental UAS platforms across assembly, maintenance, and flight test operations. You will work with engineers, test pilots, and specialists to provide hands-on mechanical expertise for aircraft readiness under civil and military approvals. What You'll Do
- Assist with aircraft assembly, planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical integration (flight control surfaces, propulsion), composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems (landing gear, fuel system, flight control, propulsion).
- Perform common airframe construction techniques and complete aircraft and equipment documentation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
- Communicate mechanical assessments with engineering and production.
- Validate and test various electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
- Practice proper FOD and tool control.
- Support flight test activities and ensure safety and readiness. What We're Looking For
- 8+ years rotorcraft experience.
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing).
- Ability to be multi-capable, including electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to rapidly adapt in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Willing to travel international and domestic as needed. Nice to Have
- US security clearance eligible.
- Experience with both electric and turbine power plants. Compensation & Benefits
