AV Installation Technician

Ebode delivers integrated smart home and commercial technology systems powered by robust networking and reliable infrastructure. Our AV Installation Technicians are hands-on team members installing AV, lighting, surveillance, and automation systems while supporting quality project delivery.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn, grow, and improve. You enjoy hands-on work and prefer being in the field. Technically inclined and always curious how things work. You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A dependable work history, strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a team-oriented attitude. Your Location:

• 1200 Commerce Drive, Suite 105, Plano, TX 75093 Your Schedule:

• Full Time - 40 hours per week

• Generally Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm, with occasional overtime, schedule flexibility, and travel based on project demands

Your Contribution to Ebode:

• Complete onsite installation work as part of the project team
• Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• Install and mount equipment, including TVs, speakers, cameras, access points, and control devices
• Assist with building, wiring, and organizing equipment racks
• Set up and configure devices following project scope and direction
• Foundational understanding of networking, or a willingness to learn
• Troubleshoot common issues with devices, wiring, and connectivity
• Communicate onsite progress and field conditions with Project Managers
• Support professional client interactions and assist with system demonstrations and training
• Maintain exceptional standards for workmanship, organization, cleanliness, and care of client properties

Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience:

• AV, IT, or low-voltage installation experience preferred; equivalent construction or hands-on technical experience considered
• Ability to read system drawings and adapt to scope changes in the field
• OSHA safety knowledge (preferred)
• Basic personal hand tools required; specialized equipment and tools provided by Ebode
