About the Role Join Doug Smith Autoplex in American Fork, Utah as an Automotive Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, document repairs in the DMS, and ensure work meets factory and state standards while delivering quality service. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and customer-focused repair work. What You'll Do
- Address customers’ primary concerns and perform repairs per repair orders following dealership, state, and factory standards
- Properly document causes and corrections in the DMS
- Perform a quality Multi-Point Inspection and record results
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Advisors
- Notify Advisors of any issues that may impact timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete required factory training
- Respect the customer’s vehicle and ensure it is kept clean during repairs
- Understand and apply Factory warranties Policy and Procedures What We're Looking For
- 2 to 3 years of automotive experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow factory and state standards
- Self-motivated, productive, and detail-oriented
- General mechanical skills
- Willingness to undergo factory training (preferred)
- Brand-specific training/certification (preferred)
- Safety and Emissions certification (preferred) Nice to Have

- Salary: $50,000 – $120,000 per year
