• Automotive Equipment Mechanic

• Electric distribution utility has immediate opening for an Automotive Equipment Mechanic.

Position Summary:

• To provide effective and efficient maintenance overhaul and repair of cooperative vehicles and equipment. Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation and extended service. Performs major overhauls and repairs to engines, transmissions, drive trains, etc., including hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Performs major maintenance, repair, and overhaul to equipment such as derrick and bucket trucks.

Position Requirements:

• Skills and knowledge normally acquired through a technical certification in automotive repair. Must have working knowledge of hydraulic overhauling, transmission repairs, and body work. Prefer a minimum of five years experience in related field. Valid S.C.

• Driver’s license is required. Must obtain Commercial Driver's License within six months from date of hire.
