About this role
We are seeking an Automotive Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain C++ software for automotive systems with a strong emphasis on functional safety and cloud infrastructure development. You will join our team in Sweden and help build next-generation connected, autonomous, and electric vehicle technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain C++ software for automotive systems with a focus on system safety.
- Support the development of components adhering to functional safety standards.
- Contribute to system safety architecture, analysis, and implementation in compliance with automotive standards.
- Work with Vehicle Computation Units (VCU) and related embedded platforms.
- Analyze and debug communication issues using SOME/IP protocol and Wireshark.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams across the development lifecycle.
- Act as a technical leader, providing guidance, reviews, and best practices within the team.
- Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- B.Sc. or higher in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Regular-level system safety competence within automotive or safety-critical domains.
- Regular experience as a C++ software developer in automotive environments.
- Proven experience with Vehicle Computation Units (VCU).
- Solid understanding of SOME/IP protocol and hands-on experience with Wireshark for debugging.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Proven experience in automotive software development.
- Experience in functional safety standard ISO 26262.
- English: C1 Advanced.
Nice to Have
- Preferably exposure to embedded Linux or AUTOSAR-based systems.
- Optional system-level integration and validation experience.
- Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments.
