About the Role Join cross-functional, agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery. Design, develop, and support frameworks for test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to development teams. Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases and mentor team members on automation and testing practices. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web apps and API automation using Rest Assured.
- Build reusable, data-driven/modular automated test scripts and maintain object repositories, test data, and function libraries.
- Work in sprint automation and develop test scripts for given user stories; conduct in-sprint test planning and execution.
- Review requirements and application functionality with project teams to improve software quality and create automated regression tests.
- Mentor team members on automation frameworks, manual testing, and API testing; perform code reviews and provide feedback.
- Investigate issues, provide analysis, defect and trend tracking, and maintain automation-related documentation and metrics.
- Manage automation delivery with the team, including POC, estimation, and alignment with internal BOTs & integrations.
- Collaborate with functional QA and ensure robust documentation of test cases and results. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Selenium Automation testing with API Automation (REST Assured).
- Strong hands-on programming in Java (Core Java, including advanced features such as Streams and Lambda Expressions).
- Experience with API testing and automation; strong knowledge of REST Assured and API testing concepts.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and automated QA processes in Agile environments; ability to perform POC and estimation, and manage automation delivery.
- Proficient with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle-PL/SQL).
- Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, and OpenShift; experience with CI/CD and DevOps goals.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
- Experience designing and working with automation frameworks; ability to write reusable components across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
- Knowledge of Spock is a huge plus. Nice to Have
- Experience with RabbitMQ and internal BOTs & integrations.
- Additional open-source tools and clouds related to automation and test execution. Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 USD per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including location, skills, and experience.
