About the Role Join i2c as a Telephony & Automation Engineer responsible for building automation scripts and tools, integrating telephony with web apps, and ensuring secure, scalable VoIP infrastructure. You will optimize voice paths, manage containers and CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to deliver real-time monitoring and robust telephony systems. What You'll Do
- Develop automation scripts and applications using Node.js, React, Python, PHP, and other technologies.
- Create custom tools to enhance monitoring and streamline daily tasks.
- Integrate telephony systems with web applications for real-time analytics and management.
- Ensure security and redundancy for all VoIP devices, servers, and web applications.
- Optimize voice paths for high quality and low latency.
- Implement best practices for service quality and scalability.
- Perform analysis and tuning of Linux-based servers for QoS, scalability, and high availability.
- Manage Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and scaling.
- Administer SMPP / API-based SMS technologies for robust messaging services.
- Provide system administration for Asterisk PBX, IVR, and global call center servers.
- Conduct continuous research on emerging technologies to improve telephony infrastructure.
- Design and maintain dashboards for 100% real-time monitoring and alerting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features and resolve issues.
- Assist in designing databases and backend systems for telephony applications. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in CS
- 0-3 years of experience in related roles
- Proficiency in Node.js, React, Python, PHP, and other modern programming languages
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Asterisk PBX, IVR, SMPP, and other telephony technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Linux server administration
- Familiarity with network protocols (SIP, RTP, WebRTC) and VoIP security
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
