About the Role On-site role at Coca-Cola HBC Romania (Ploiești) focused on automation and PLC/HMI maintenance. You will maintain production equipment, modify PLC programs and interfaces, and support new automation projects, working in cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance and reliability. What You'll Do
- Realize corrective and preventive maintenance interventions for automation issues on production equipment (identify problems, propose solutions and fix accordingly).
- Ensure modification of PLC programs and HMI interfaces according to internal requirements.
- Ensure backup solutions for control systems on production equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to determine root causes of production equipment defects.
- Propose solutions to improve production equipment performance from an automation perspective.
- Provide support for the implementation of new automation projects. What We're Looking For
- Higher education in automation or electrical engineering.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation and PLCs; advantage in processes with a high degree of automation.
- Advanced PC operation skills.
- Knowledge of PLC – Siemens Step7, WinCC Flexible, TIA Portal.
- Understanding and development of maintenance and management programs.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation elements.
- Knowledge of inverters, safety systems, control systems (Siemens S7), communication systems (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ASI); ability to adapt, replace, and modify PLC programs. Nice to Have
