A Snapshot of Your Day

Deliver safe and reliable installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting and lifecycle service support for automation, HMI, DCS systems across Oil & Gas (onshore & Offshore), Chemical, and Process Industries applications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform installation inspections, pre-commissioning, functional testing, commissioning and equipment start-up.
• Troubleshoot automation, DCS, PLC, HMI systems during planned service and emergency support.
• Prepare and review commissioning procedures in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering, project management and service teams throughout execution.
• Support start-up, sail-away and sea-trial activities for offshore, Chemical, Process Industries, projects.
• Conduct customer operator training using approved manuals and procedures.
• Monitor progress and prepare accurate site reports, commissioning records and follow-up actions.
• Identify spare-parts, retrofit, upgrade and obsolescence requirements.
• Support service, spare-parts and lifecycle upgrade proposals.
• Complete timesheets, expense claims and service documentation accurately and on time.
• Safe, high-quality commissioning execution and timely issue resolution.
• Accurate documentation, successful handover and customer satisfaction.
• Identification of spares, upgrades and lifecycle service opportunities.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with industrial automation, DCS, PLC and AC/DC VFD systems.
• Strong fault-finding and system-level troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with Siemens PLC, HMI, PCS7, DCS and SINAMICS drive systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of industrial communication networks and system interfaces is preferred.
• Experience in Offshore, Oil & Gas, Chemical or Process Industry applications.
• Knowledge of functional testing, commissioning documentation and customer handover.
• Familiarity with digital service tools and remote diagnostic platforms.
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools, including Copilot-supported workflows, for troubleshooting, reporting, knowledge retrieval and service productivity.
• Ability to use digital tools responsibly while protecting customer and company information.
• Strong analytical, communication and customer-facing skills.
• Safety-focused, service-oriented and accountable.
• Able to work independently and within multicultural project teams.
• Comfortable working under pressure and travelling internationally.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant commissioning, service or troubleshooting experience.
• Experience leading commissioning or start-up activities and operator training is an advantage.
• Ideal Candidate: A safety-focused, technically capable and customer-oriented engineer who can independently execute commissioning and troubleshooting activities while contributing to long-term lifecycle service growth.
