Automation QA Engineer
Position Overview
- We are hiring a Mid-level Automation QA Engineer to join the technology team of a global application security company. The company helps organisations identify and address security vulnerabilities, protecting thousands of applications worldwide.
- In this role, you will perform end-to-end test automation using Playwright, validate key product features, and conduct unit testing. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Validate key product features to ensure they work as intended.
- Conduct unit testing to verify the behaviour of individual software components.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other teams to support product quality.
- Take ownership of assigned testing work and proactively suggest improvements to QA processes and automation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Professional work experience as a QA Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright.
- Experience writing automated tests in TypeScript (preferred) or JavaScript.
- A proactive approach, with the initiative to identify improvements and bring new ideas to the team.
- A self-driven working style and ownership of your responsibilities.
- A learning mindset, with a willingness to develop your skills and explore new approaches to quality assurance.
- Experience using AI in QA or test automation.
