About the Role Valce Talent Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks and drive quality across projects. The role focuses on Playwright-based UI automation, API testing, and AI workflow validation to support reliable software delivery. What You'll Do
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Develop hands-on Playwright-based UI and end-to-end automation.
- Test APIs, integration flows, and enforce CI/CD quality gates.
- Validate agentic AI applications, including workflow accuracy, tool usage, and failure handling.
- Write robust automation code (Java, Python) and drive quality improvements end to end.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise engineering standards. What We're Looking For
- Strong automation engineering background with hands-on framework design and coding.
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.
- Proven experience testing APIs, integration flows, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Experience testing agentic AI applications, including workflow accuracy, tool usage, and failure handling.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages for automation.
- Ownership mindset, innovative thinking, and ability to drive quality improvements end to end. Nice to Have
- Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt/workflow validation, and agent guardrail testing.
- Exposure to performance, resiliency, and observability testing for AI systems.
- Knowledge of retrieval-based systems, tool-calling workflows, and non-deterministic test patterns.
- Experience with service virtualization, test data management, and synthetic test environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-native testing in distributed/event-driven systems.
