Automation Engineer (m/f/d) - Automatisierungs-Ing. (m/w/d) - Hamburg

Als Automatisierungsingenieur (m/w/d) stellen Sie den sicheren, zuverlässigen und effizienten Betrieb von Automatisierungs- und Prozessleitsystemen sicher und treiben gleichzeitig kontinuierliche Verbesserungen am Standort Hamburg voran.

In dieser Position werden Sie:

  • Die Verfügbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und kontinuierliche Verbesserung von Prozessleit- und Automatisierungssystemen sicherstellen.
  • Automatisierungs-, Optimierungs- und Standardisierungspotenziale identifizieren und umsetzen, um Sicherheit, Qualität, Effizienz und Anlagenverfügbarkeit zu verbessern.
  • Technische Unterstützung für Investitions- und kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprojekte von der Planung bis zur Inbetriebnahme leisten.
  • Aktivitäten zur Prozesssicherheit, Risikobewertungen und Initiativen zur funktionalen Sicherheit unterstützen.
  • Regelkonforme technische Dokumentationen pflegen und die Einhaltung relevanter interner und externer Standards sicherstellen.

Erforderliche Qualifikationen für Ihren Erfolg

  • Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Automatisierungstechnik, Elektrotechnik, Verfahrenstechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung.
  • Berufserfahrung im Bereich Automatisierung, Prozessleitsysteme oder Mess-, Steuerungs- und Regelungstechnik (MSR-Technik).
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit DCS-/PLS-Systemen, idealerweise ABB Freelance oder vergleichbaren Systemen.
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich funktionale Sicherheit sowie einschlägiger Industriestandards.
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

As an Automation Engineer, you ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of automation and process control systems while driving continuous improvement across the Hamburg site.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure the availability, reliability and continuous improvement of process control and automation systems.
  • Identify and implement automation, optimization and standardization opportunities that improve safety, quality, efficiency and plant availability.
  • Provide technical support for capital and continuous improvement projects from planning through commissioning.
  • Support process safety activities, risk assessments and functional safety initiatives.
  • Maintain compliant technical documentation and ensure adherence to relevant internal and external standards.

Required Qualifications that Enable Success

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in automation, process control systems, or instrumentation and electrical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with DCS/PLS systems, ideally ABB Freelance or similar.
  • Knowledge of functional safety and industrial safety standards.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
