Job title: Automation Engineer - Selenium

About the Role Apply depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders on a regular basis. Develop and engineer solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working to collaboratively deliver sprint goals, write code, and participate in the broader Citi technical community and team-level Agile and Scrum processes. Contribute to the design, documentation, and development of world-class enterprise applications leveraging the latest technologies and software design patterns. Leverage technical knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues, as necessary. Follow and contribute to defining technical and team standards. Collaborate with technical leadership to achieve established goals, in line with our broader technical strategy. Test Automation: Very good understanding and practical experience with software testing concepts, test automation framework and languages. Practical experience with functional and non-functional testing using leading testing tools like Selenium or Playwright. AI-Driven Development: Leverage AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to enhance development efficiency, accelerate delivery timelines, and optimize software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design, documentation, and development of world-class enterprise applications using modern technologies and design patterns.
• Follow and contribute to technical and team standards; collaborate with technical leadership to achieve goals aligned with the broader technical strategy.
• Apply test automation expertise with frameworks and languages; execute functional and non-functional testing using tools such as Selenium or Playwright; support test automation framework development.
• Explore AI-driven development approaches to enhance development efficiency using tools like GitHub Copilot.

What We're Looking For

• 5-8 years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
• Mandatory skills: Selenium; strong understanding of test automation concepts, frameworks and languages; experience with functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern testing tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders; strong communication and problem solving.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and contribute to a fast-paced technical community.

Nice to Have

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 to $135,000 USD per year.
