About the Role Deloitte's AI & Engineering team is seeking an Automation and Controls Engineer to support AMC SOCaaS in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on designing solutions for integration into existing automated equipment and generating site implementation design deliverables, including architecture diagrams, schematics, and strategic implementation plans to guide decision-making based on experience.
What You'll Do
- Provide insight into Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology (OT)
- Perform on-site surveys of existing OT and production environment equipment, and on-site installation of SOCaaS equipment onto the existing equipment
- Provide insight into Facility-Related-Control-Systems (FRCS) that operate on protocols such as BACnet
- Develop schematics and designs for modifications to existing machines and for future, yet-to-be-installed machines
- Advocate the perspectives of the Site engineering teams and effectively convey risks associated with proposed modifications to allow AMC SOCaaS to make the best decisions possible
- Generate a Bill of Materials for these designs and provide guidance on sourcing when appropriate
