About the Role

Zapier is seeking an Automation & AI Workflow Architect to help teams design, build, and scale automated AI-powered workflows using Zapier's platform—Zaps, Tables, Interfaces, Agents, and Chatbots. The role focuses on turning business processes into safe, scalable automation that leverages AI to handle time-consuming tasks, enabling people to focus on higher-value work.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to design end-to-end automated AI workflows across apps and data sources using Zaps, Tables, Interfaces, Agents, and Chatbots.

• Configure triggers, actions, and data flows to maximize reliability, performance, and security.

• Help customers and teams implement automation best practices, governance, and scale strategies.

• Troubleshoot and optimize workflows with Zapier Copilot to brainstorm, build, configure, and troubleshoot solutions.

• Develop data models in Zapier Tables, create user-facing forms with Interfaces, and design AI-powered assistants that work across your stack.

• Educate stakeholders on automation vs AI automation and demonstrate how AI can handle repetitive tasks while humans focus on strategic work.

• What We're Looking For

• Experience designing automated workflows on no-code/low-code platforms.

• Understanding of triggers and actions, and how task usage is counted.

• Familiarity with AI automation concepts such as summarization, classification, data extraction, and pattern recognition.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to translate business needs into automated solutions.

• Interest in building scalable AI-powered systems and a passion for empowering teams to work more efficiently.

• Nice to Have

• Experience with Zapier Copilot or similar AI assistants.

• Familiarity with Zapier Tables, Interfaces, Agents, and Chatbots.

• Background in data automation, AI-powered customer support, or workflow engineering.
