Job Description
AutoCAD Drafter A stable company is seeking a reliable AutoCAD Drafter. This full-time, direct-hire role offers excellent benefits, a hybrid work schedule, and collaborative team environment! Responsibilities of the AutoCAD Drafter
- Interpret architectural documents and sales order information to create quality submittal packages for client approval
- Coordinate review meetings to go over drawing updates prior to client submittal
- Create BOMs for manufacturing parts
- Construct installation drawing packages
- Work with engineering to provide ETO solutions and assist with part drawings and item creation
- Perform site visits to collect field information
- Work on multiple projects concurrently
- Maintain up-to-date documentation
Qualifications of the AutoCAD Drafter
- 2- or 4-year technical degree and/or 0-5 years of experience
- Drafting experience in a manufacturing environment or other technical field is desirable
- Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD 2D required
- Construction industry and building code familiarity
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural prints
- Ability to give timely responses to quick turn requests
- Flexibility to adapt to unique drawing and scheduling requirements per project
- Continuous improvement mindset
