Job title: Auto Property Damage Adjuster (Fast Track Representative)
About the Role At AIG, the Auto Property Damage Adjuster (Fast Track Representative) investigates, evaluates and resolves first and third party auto liability claims, minor injury claims and low complexity general liability losses. You will document thoroughly, formulate resolution action plans based on applicable law and evidence, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the life of the claim.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough investigations of coverage, liability and damages and document facts with supporting evidence.
- Maintain appropriate loss and expense reserves with documented rationale; perform ongoing reserve reviews through the life of the file.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all applicable jurisdictions.
- Execute best practices in claim handling and adhere to company guidelines.
- Maintain and manage a diary system to efficiently manage and resolve assigned claim inventory.
- Prepare resolution action plans and complete documentation for claims closure.
- Possess and maintain Property and Casualty licenses; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of previous claim handling experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Analytical with good decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise good judgment.
- Property and Casualty licenses required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
