Auditor

We are urgently hiring an Auditor to perform financial and operational audits, evaluate business processes and controls, and report findings to management for a Lagos-based employer. The role focuses on identifying risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities across revenue, procurement, inventory and asset management processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and operational audits to evaluate business processes and controls.
• Review accounting records, transactions, and operational activities for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
• Monitor revenue processes to ensure sales and income are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Review procurement, inventory, and asset management processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support fraud prevention initiatives and ensure company policies are followed.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Audit, Compliance, or Finance roles.
• Experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or similar industries is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial processes.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIA is an added advantage.

Salary

• ₦250,000 – ₦350,000
