Audit Manager in the technology sector at Baker Tilly will be a valued business advisor delivering industry-focused audit and other assurance services to middle-market clients. You will work alongside firm leadership, mentor staff, and contribute to the firm’s growth with a strong emphasis on client service and professional development.
Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to technology sector clients, positively impacting financial statements, profitability, and business operations. Proactively engage with clients to understand goals and challenges and tailor solutions. Implement appropriate testing to assess internal control deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement. Manage all fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results. Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered. Deliver business insight through thoughtful review, analysis, and discussion. Assist with engagement staffing, billings and collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. Build internal and external relationships with clients and the community, leveraging entrepreneurial mindset. Invest in professional development through firm-wide programs; support the growth and development of team members as part of Baker Tilly's Care and Teach philosophy.
Bachelor's degree; master's or advanced degree desired. CPA required. 5 years of experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional setting. Experience in technology sector or emphasis on technology clients; strong leadership and client service skills. Ability to own your schedule, work with autonomy, and contribute to firm growth.
