About the Role Baker Tilly is seeking an Audit Manager in the Real Estate sector to deliver industry-focused audit and other assurance services to a diverse real estate client base. You will work with firm leadership and mentor staff to help develop technical and professional skills, contributing to the firm’s success.
What You'll Do
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients, positively impacting their financial statements, profitability, and business operations.
- Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to understand goals and challenges; implement testing to assess internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Manage fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results; provide valuable financial statement guidance and business recommendations.
- Deliver business insight through thoughtful review, analysis, and discussion; assist with staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
- Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community; invest in professional development through firm programs.
- Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

What We're Looking For
- 4-year degree and CPA required; 5+ years of experience in auditing and financial statement services.
- Experience delivering industry-focused assurance and advisory services, ideally in Real Estate.
- Strong leadership, client relationship management, and ability to mentor staff; comfort working with firm leadership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to network and contribute to business development.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years’ experience providing financial statement audit services for real estate clients (or similar).
