Job title: Audiologist
About the Role Under the direction of the Director of Audiology, the Audiologist is responsible for providing a full array of clinical audiology services, and for representing the audiology division in a professional and competent fashion across UCSF Health sites.
What You'll Do
- Perform specialized audiological procedures including threshold evaluation, speech audiometry, central auditory testing, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions, videonystagmography, rotational chair assessment, and evoked potential audiometry to evaluate and define hearing problems in adult and pediatric patients.
- Provide clinical care at UCSF Health sites (Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Parnassus, UCSF partnerships, satellite clinics, or with UCSF Faculty at off-site sites).
- Work under the direction of the Director of Audiology and represent the audiology division in a professional and competent fashion.
- Deliver services to both adult and pediatric populations across multiple clinic settings.
What We're Looking For
- AuD or PhD in Audiology. For UCSF incumbents, an equivalent combination of education (Master's) and experience prior to implementation of AuD.
- License/Certification: Current California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license and full licensure within three months of hire.
Nice to Have
- Current California Dispensing Audiologist License.
