About the Role
The attorney will provide legal support for Mercedes-Benz Vans operations, focusing on contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This role requires a US-licensed attorney with strong analytical, communication, and administrative skills to help the business navigate legal obligations and protect company interests.
What You'll Do

Provide legal guidance on business matters, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment for MB Vans operations.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents; advise on contractual obligations and potential risks.

Analyze legal positions, ensure adherence to applicable laws, and articulate positions to cross-functional teams.

Manage multiple tasks against deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Maintain efficient legal administration processes and leverage technology tools (Microsoft 365, AI) to support work.

What We're Looking For

Juris Doctorate from a United States law school.

Licensed U.S. attorney in at least one state in good standing; South Carolina Bar admission preferred.

1-3 years of relevant legal experience.

Highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, dependability, and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, AI, and other technology tools.

Ability to work against deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of fundamentals of law; excellent legal administration and strong organizational skills.

Capability to understand, analyze, and articulate legal positions, contractual obligations, risks, and legal requirements.
