We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a high-volume pre-litigation caseload for a Contract position based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on advancing matters efficiently through case review, settlement strategy, and direct communication with opposing counsel. The attorney selected will help drive timely resolutions, maintain accurate case tracking, and contribute strong legal judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial portfolio of pre-litigation matters with an emphasis on moving files toward timely resolution.
• Review litigation demands and case materials to assess exposure, identify issues, and recommend settlement direction.
• Communicate directly with plaintiff attorneys to discuss claims, negotiate terms, and work toward practical case outcomes.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy, evaluate risks, and strengthen negotiation positions.
• Maintain organized records of case activity, settlement progress, and outcomes using spreadsheets and shared internal tools.
• Meet targeted case closure expectations by prioritizing workload effectively and advancing matters through each stage of review.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation, updates, and next steps are handled accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law.

• Prior experience handling negotiations and settlement discussions in a legal setting.

• Background in pre-litigation case management.

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.

• Comfortable using SharePoint and spreadsheet-based tracking tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with counsel and internal teams.
