About the Role We are seeking an experienced attorney to join the Administrative Office of the Courts, Office of Probation Services, Child Support Enforcement unit in Trenton, NJ. The role emphasizes strong legal writing, analytical and communication skills to support child support enforcement and related probation services. You will report to the Child Support Enforcement Program Manager and contribute to the Judiciary's mission with independence, integrity and quality service.
What You'll Do
- Provide legal writing, analytical support, and advisory services for child support enforcement programs.
- Draft legal documents, review case files, and prepare opinions or recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Office of the Courts, Office of Probation Services, and the program manager to implement policies and ensure compliance.
- Work on-site in Trenton, NJ with the potential for up to 2 remote workdays under the hybrid schedule; adhere to security requirements such as multifactor authentication and high-speed home internet access.

- Experienced attorney with excellent legal writing, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment and work collaboratively with court staff and program stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with child support enforcement and probation services is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: Schedule A $81,866.60 to $127,586.80; Schedule B $81,866.60 to $121,207.46. New hires typically start at the minimum of the respective range.
