We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the development, administration, and evolution of our enterprise work management, service delivery, and knowledge management platforms. This role combines platform ownership, workflow design, systems integration, automation, and stakeholder engagement to improve operational efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Atlassian technologies, enterprise workflow automation, cloud migrations, and AI-enabled process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own the administration, configuration, and optimization of Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence environments.
• Design and implement scalable workflows, permissions models, request processes, automation rules, and governance standards.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including planning, testing, user acceptance, and production deployment activities.
• Build and enhance service management processes covering technology operations, employee services, access requests, approvals, and business support functions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Atlassian products and enterprise applications using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and third-party tools.
• Configure and support asset and configuration management solutions, including asset inventories, dependencies, and workflow integrations.
• Improve platform reliability, adoption, reporting, compliance, and overall user experience.
• Drive automation and self-service capabilities that reduce operational overhead and improve service delivery.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI capabilities, intelligent assistants, and workflow automation solutions to streamline business processes.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable platform solutions.
• Work with external vendors and consulting partners on implementation, migration, and enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in enterprise environments.

• Expertise designing advanced Jira workflows, automations, custom configurations, and platform governance standards.

• Experience supporting Confluence spaces, permissions, templates, and knowledge management practices.

• Experience participating in or leading Jira and Confluence cloud migration initiatives.

• Strong understanding of service management and ITSM concepts, including request fulfillment, incident management, change management, and service catalog design.

• Experience building employee service workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, approvals, and access management processes.

• Familiarity with Jira Assets, CMDB concepts, asset lifecycle management, and related integrations.

• Experience integrating enterprise systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms.

• Scripting experience with Python, Groovy, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with Git, testing practices, release management, and controlled deployment processes.

• Experience leveraging AI tools and workflow automation platforms to improve operational efficiency.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Atlassian certifications are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
