Athletics Event Operations Coordinator

The Athletics Event Operations Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day operations of athletic events unit as well as the event operations for assigned sports and outside events.
Job Duties
Assist with execution of game day management plans to ensure a positive game day experience for all student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Provides excellent customer service to athletic department coaches and staff, campus departments and organizations, and external organizations to encourage continual and regular use of all athletics facilities.
Assist with budget preparation for the unit.
Coordinate with other departments as necessary to prepare facilities for the various events.
Position requires working evenings, and weekends, as well as other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree with previous experience working in an athletics related field or a Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
Working Knowledge of NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations with a personal commitment to operate within those rules is required.
Position requires working nights and weekends and on occasion holidays.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Possess a current, valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working within an intercollegiate athletic program in the areas of facilities or operations, preferred.
