About the Role The Athletics Communications Assistant supports Luther College athletics by helping the Athletics Communications Director market and promote the college through student-athlete stories, social media engagement, and event coverage. The role focuses on storytelling, brand promotion, and post-event follow-up during overlapping home games. What You'll Do
- Assist the Director with media relations, website maintenance, livestreaming, game management and in-game scorekeeping, statistical reporting, photography and image management, and record keeping.
- Train, mentor, and supervise student workers.
- Collaborate with the Division of Communication, including the Digital Media team and the social media coordinator.
- Provide event coverage and follow-up reporting and promotions for Luther athletic events during overlapping home schedules. What We're Looking For
