About the Role Athletic Student Worker Level 1 – Athletic Equipment supports Schreiner University's Athletics Department by maintaining equipment and facilities, handling laundry, and assisting with hydration station setup under supervision of the Associate Athletic Director/Equipment Manager. This entry-level student role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, organization, and teamwork to keep athletic programs running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and help maintain courts and facilities with guidance from Athletics Staff.
- Maintain and prepare athletic equipment with guidance from Athletics Staff.
- Support laundry operations for all athletics teams.
- Support ATS with hydration station setup during practices and events.
- Assist with general organization and upkeep of athletic facilities and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the Athletics Department by supervision.
What We're Looking For
- Enrolled as a full-time Schreiner University student; minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; reliable and punctual.
- Equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Good people skills and strong work ethic; professional interactions with supervisors and others.
- Ability to work outdoors and with others; able to operate a university cart (must be cleared).
