About the Role As part of EY's Assurance Team, you will serve as the primary contact from GDS and take ownership of tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams. You will lead SOC engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables, and manage day-to-day engagement operations while developing and mentoring a high-performing team. What You'll Do
- Lead a portfolio of SOC engagements, guiding a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates; ensure compliance with standards and delivery of client-ready reports.
- Conduct detailed process walkthroughs and control testing; document findings and assess the effectiveness of clients' controls.
- Collaborate with Global client-serving assurance teams to understand clients’ systems and processes; provide expert advice on control optimization and risk mitigation.
- Develop and deliver high-impact PowerPoint presentations that clearly convey findings, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively discuss workflow management, allocate resources, monitor performance against standards, and manage utilization and budget variances.
- Build and maintain strong onshore relationships; identify opportunities for additional services and engagements.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, clear communication, and leadership when dealing with GDS and engagement teams; lead by example and develop high-performing teams.
- Conduct timely performance reviews, provide feedback and training, and contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
- Participate in organizational initiatives (recruitment, diversity and inclusiveness, trainings, etc.). What We're Looking For
- CPA with 7-8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting/Internal Audits; experience with process walkthroughs and control testing; proven leadership skills.
- Experience in a mid- or top-tier accounting firm or large corporate/multi-national environment, preferably within a Shared Service environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Power BI; advanced PowerPoint presentation design (graphics, animations, multimedia).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication; strong interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Project management, leadership, coaching, and supervisory capabilities; ability to build positive team culture and collaborate with India and global teams.

- Proficiency in MS Power BI and advanced presentation design skills (graphics, animations, multimedia).
