Associate Test Engineer Shift 2 (Night Shift)

Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Test Engineer for a 2nd shift position in a high-pressure production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electronic sub-assembly and camera builds for semiconductor equipment. This role requires a strong technical understanding of electronic circuitry, precision in handling small components, and the ability to work independently to meet production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and test cameras and printed circuit assemblies in a production environment.

• Perform testing on PCBs from suppliers, including voltage tests and functional board testing.

• Apply FPGA programming and perform light electronic assembly.

• Troubleshoot diagnostic issues and isolate failed components on circuit boards before they are returned to suppliers.

• Work with engineers to bring new products into manufacturing.

• Update and maintain documentation to ensure repeatable manufacturing processes.

• Adhere to safety policies, including standard lifting requirements of up to 25 lbs and two-person lifts for items over 40 lbs.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required. A Master's degree is also acceptable.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to read and understand complex schematics.

• Familiarity with tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Work Schedule: Must be willing to work the 2nd shift (swing shift) starting at 3:30 PM, from Sunday to Friday. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is required.
