We are looking for an Associate Systems Management Analyst to support mission-critical enterprise Mainframe operations. The role focuses on high-volume batch processing, workload automation, system monitoring, and maintaining operational stability across multiple LPARs. The position requires hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies, including CICS, DB2, and Workload Automation, within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Night Shift Position SUN-MON-TUE and every 3rd week one extra day, either SAT or WED 40h a week / 10 h per day
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support enterprise Mainframe environments across multiple LPARs.
- Manage high-volume batch operations supporting approximately 15 million requests monthly.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with hourly SLAs.
- Execute workload automation requests and support Mainframe maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and proactively escalate potential SLA violations.
- Support incident and change management processes.
- Coordinate with application teams to ensure operational stability and timely batch execution.
- Utilize enterprise-approved AI tools to improve operational efficiency and automate routine tasks.
- Follow Data Center security protocols and support onsite vendor access requirements.

Description

2+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise Mainframe environments with multiple LPARs, or a Bachelor's degree. Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting workload automation requests across multiple application teams and Mainframe maintenance activities. At least 1+ year of hands-on technical experience with CICS, DB2, and Mainframe infrastructure. Strong understanding of batch processing, system monitoring, SLA management, incident escalation, and operational procedures. Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-critical enterprise environment and comply with Data Center security requirements.

3+ years of experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management and Workload Automation as a Service (WLAaaS) tools such as TWS/z or CA

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ITSM certification or equivalent experience. Familiarity with AI-assisted operational tools, automation, and continuous improvement practices within Mainframe environments.
