How You'll Make An Impact:

• Perform moderate to advanced laboratory experiments for the development and optimization of new ddPCR assays.
• Independently analyze and interpret data, summarize and document the experimental results and effectively communicate and present data to the team and project stakeholders.
• Write verification test plans and reports to support new product development.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during assay development with little or no assistance. Lead improvements to protocols and processes.
• Assist and collaborate with a team of research scientists and associates to achieve shared goals.

What You Bring:

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related life science field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably with PCR assays.
• Technical

Skills

• Advanced knowledge in designing and executing experiments, data analysis, and problem-solving. Hands on experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques and nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR, preferably relating to designing and optimizing PCR-based assays.
• Communication

• Ability to present results clearly and concisely and work collaboratively within a team.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving

• Strong analysis skills to interpret experimental results and ability to identify and overcome challenges during assay development. · Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JMP and other tools for experimentation and analysis.
• Ability to self-motivate, multitask and make intellectual contributions to multiple projects. Attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skill

Compensation

The estimated hourly range for this position is $28.00 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
