What you'll do

  • As an Associate Relationship Manager based in Hanoi City, you will immerse yourself in a role that is as rewarding as it is varied.   • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with both internal and external customers, including affiliates and partner banks, to support their business needs effectively.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, create robust pipelines, close deals, and contribute towards achieving profit and KPI targets.

  • Actively participate in strategic planning by following the direction set by the department or team and implementing continuous improvement cycles for assigned responsibilities.

  • Strengthen alliances with partner banks through enhanced cooperation on various transactions, ensuring mutual benefit and shared success.

  • Lead by example within your team by offering guidance, support, and sharing valuable experiences to foster collective achievement.

  • Conduct day-to-day operational activities aimed at developing customer relationships while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

  • Support departmental initiatives focused on increasing revenue opportunities and delivering exceptional service quality to customers.

  • Ensure proper credit management practices are followed alongside rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, laws, and regulations to ensure best practices are consistently applied in all aspects of your work.

What you bring:

  • A university degree majoring in Economics, Banking, Finance, Accounting or a related field is essential for this role as it provides the foundational knowledge required for effective relationship management.
  • At least five years of experience as a Relationship Manager within the financial sector demonstrates your proven ability to manage client portfolios successfully.
  • Excellent command of English—particularly in writing and reading—enables you to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders both locally and internationally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ensures you can efficiently handle reporting tasks and presentations required for client meetings.
  • Outstanding communication skills empower you to influence others positively while presenting products or negotiating terms with clients.
  • A thorough understanding of current industry trends, financial products, relevant laws, and regulatory requirements allows you to offer informed advice at all times.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities enable seamless collaboration across departments for holistic client support.
