Associate, R&D Supplier Management

Amgen is seeking an Associate, R&D Supplier Management in Hyderabad, India. This role supports study planning, supplier management, operational execution, and data management across multiple R&D programs. As a key liaison between internal stakeholders, CROs, laboratories, and external suppliers, you will help ensure timely study execution, documentation compliance, forecasting accuracy, and delivery of operational milestones. The position emphasizes project management, data analysis, supplier coordination, and documentation management to support study lifecycle activities, risk management initiatives, and operational excellence within the R&D organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform general data management and project management activities across multiple verticals
• Provide transactional study planning and lifecycle support
• Monitor the planning tool for new studies and updates to existing studies
• Assign Planisware numbers and manage timelines (e.g., bioanalytical lab name, PO#, study status)
• Monitor, manage, and query key systems to support documentation, planning, and forecasting
• Ensure finalized study documentation is archived appropriately
• Support risk management through collection and analysis of metrics, trends, and databases
• Support visualization dashboards, curate content, and provide real-time updates
• Pull upcoming studies from MSL systems to support planning and forecasting
• Generate key shipping documents including international commercial terms, import permits, letters of authorization, and others as needed
• Manage procurement and shipment requests (e.g., critical reagents and study samples)
• Liaise with external suppliers to plan and coordinate key shipments and deliverables
• Perform review and submission of regulated documents and data (e.g., MVP, MVR, deviations)
• Populate key trackers (e.g., timelines, purchase orders, supplier issues)
• Monitor CRO reagent trackers and review periodically for accuracy and expiry management
• Assist in documenting supplier oversight activity (e.g., evaluation, monitoring, remediation events)
• Ensure clear communication of progress against all deliverables and prompt escalation when needed

Requirements

• Experience in project management, data analysis, supplier coordination, and documentation management
• Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders, CROs, laboratories, and external suppliers
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on timely execution and accuracy
• Proficiency in managing planning tools and trackers, and in generating and maintaining documentation and dashboards
• Effective communication skills to clearly convey progress, risks, and milestones and to escalate when necessary
• Demonstrated ability to support risk management activities and study lifecycle processes
