Job title: Associate Professor of Kinesiology
About the Role The Associate Professor of Kinesiology will teach in the BS in Kinesiology, contribute to experiential learning and interprofessional education, and mentor undergraduate students. This is a nine-month, full-time tenure-track position beginning August 9, 2026, at Abilene Christian University. The role requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to support ACU's Christian mission.
What You'll Do
- Teach a variety of Kinesiology courses in the BS Kinesiology program.
- Mentor undergraduate students and foster experiential learning and interprofessional education.
- Contribute to high-quality teaching in the classroom and laboratory and promote a Christ-centered environment.
What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree required.
- Must be a professing Christian and willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.
- Nine-month, full-time tenure-track faculty position starting August 9, 2026.
- Based in Abilene, Texas; onsite position.
- Commitment to the quality education of undergraduate Kinesiology students through teaching excellence in the classroom and laboratory.
