Job title: Associate Professor
About the Role The Associate Professor in Liberty University's LUCOM Anatomy faculty will teach in their area of expertise, maintain the integrity of courses, and ensure alignment with the University mission and student experience. The role may include curriculum development for both residential and distance education, engagement in research or creative activity, and service to students and the profession, all while fostering an environment of mutual respect and individual dignity.
What You'll Do
- Teach in your area of expertise and maintain the integrity of courses and instructional programs
- Align teaching with Liberty's mission and the student experience
- Aid in curriculum development for residential and distance education environments
- Engage in research/scholarship or creative activity as required by the college or school
- Engage in service to students and your professional discipline
- Foster an academic atmosphere of mutual respect and consideration for individual dignity
- Manage contracted teaching load (10, 11, or 12 months) with load hours determined by the Dean
What We're Looking For
- An earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution in an area relevant to the teaching field, or a terminal professional master's degree, or evidence of outstanding contributions in the field recognized by peers
- Eligibility for appointment as Associate Professor based on scholarly and professional achievements after attaining the rank of Assistant Professor
- Ability and readiness to contribute to curriculum development, teaching, and scholarship in LUCOM Anatomy
- Willingness to work within Liberty University's Christian worldview and mission
- The appointment may be 10, 11, or 12 months depending on load (24, 27, or 30 load hours) with release from teaching load determined by the Dean

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $91,500 - $144,000
